Shanghai Haojiate Special Fibre Co., Ltd. was established in 2005 and is located in Jinshan Industrial Park in Shanghai. Our company is a high-tech enterprise integrating the research & development, manufacture, marketing and service of Ultra High Molecular Weight Poly Ethylene (UHMWPE) products. We have 80 highly skilled research team, including 3 professoriate senior engineers, 4 senior engineers and 16 engineers. With a total investment of 210 million CNY and six patents, and the introduction of advanced fibre manufacturing technology and equipment, we produce 800 tons of high performance UHMWPE fibre annually.And 8,000 pcs of bulletproofs, 16,000 pcs of UHMWPE Alumina plates and 8,000 pcs of bulletproof helmets per month. Thus we are ranked as the 1st exporter of UHMWPE related bulletproof products in China.



UHMWPE, also known as high modulus polyethylene (HMPE) or high performance polyethylene (HPPE) is a thermoplastic which has extremely long chains and high molecular weight.It is highly resistant to corrosive chemicals, extremely low moisture absorption, extremely low coefficient of friction, self lubricating and highly resistant to abrasion, and has much longer usage lifecycle. Its coefficient of friction is significantly lower than that of nylon and acetal, and is comparable to teflon, but UHMWPE has better abrasion resistance than teflon. It is odorless, tasteless, and nontoxic. This gives a strength/weight ratio as much as 15 times stronger than steel and up to 40% stronger than Aramid.



Our second plant in Jinshan industrial zone is for production of cellulose acetate granules and cellulose granules tool handle. We are able to produce 1000MT of granules per month by 3 production lines and can process them into tool handle directly by extrusion and injection machine by ourselves.
